Family Apostolate Ministry is one of the Ministries of the Latin Diocese of Neyyattinkara. The Diocese was bifurcated from the Latin Arch Diocese of Trivandrum in the year 1996, 14th June. It has a wide area extended from Parassala to Vamanapuram covering two Taluks: Neyyattinkara and Nedumangad. The Diocese has more than 35 thousands of families and more than one lakh people living in these families. All are following the Latin rite liturgy. FAM has an important role to form these families into a "Better Catholic Faith Community".
